When given the chance to create any kind of blank book library, the options were endless. Of course, my initial thought was something crazy colorful! Cause my motto is generally the brighter the better! Instead I went a completely opposite direction. By choosing a very limited color palette of natural cottons, unbleached papers and hemp, with a pop of coral, I was able to bring the focus of the library on the craftsmanship of each individual book rather than just the color palette. The library includes eight unique handmade books. Each featuring a different binding style from Coptic stitch to traditional case-bound to the ox and plow to accordion, to list just a few.
